CHRIS SERPICO ANNOUNCES RUN FOR JUDGE ON THE BUCKS COUNTY COURT OF COMMON PLEAS

“Today, I am announcing my candidacy for Judge on the Bucks County Court of Common Pleas. As both a former prosecutor who fought zealously to make sure that those guilty of committing crimes were brought to justice and as a lawyer who has defended those accused of committing criminal acts, I have served as an advocate on both sides of the criminal justice system.”

Serpico is a former Chief Deputy District Attorney of Bucks County serving under Alan Rubenstein. He is past President of the Bucks County Bar Association. As a criminal defense attorney, he represented hundreds of individuals and families in both Juvenile and Adult court. For the past 25 years, in addition to his criminal defense practice, Serpico has also focused on Wills and Estates, Personal Injury, and Civil Litigation.

Serpico has a long record of community involvement, including six years as a member of the Central Bucks Family YMCA Board of Directors, in which he also served as Chief Volunteer Officer. He was also a six-year member of the Bucks County Children and Youth Advisory Board. Serpico has served on the Board of Big Brothers/Big Sisters and the Community Conservatory of Music. He coached baseball and basketball teams for Doylestown Athletic Association and has continued to serve for the past fifteen years as a Cantor and Pre-Cana Marriage Counselor at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Doylestown.

“I believe that I am uniquely qualified to be a judge on our Court. I recognize that anyone seeking a position on the Bucks County Bench has to meet the high standards set by a tradition of excellent jurists, and I intend to meet that standard if I am so fortunate as to be elected to the Court of Common Pleas this year.”
