Mr. Brahin speaks on Commercial Evictions at PBI’s 20th Annual Real Estate Law Institute

H. Jeffrey Brahin, Esquire is pleased to announce that he was chosen to present a seminar on “Commercial Evictions and How to Avoid Them” at PBI’s prestigious Real Estate Law Institute in Philadelphia on December 9, 2016. This is the third time Mr. Brahin has been selected to present a seminar on commercial evictions for PBI.

The seminar was a comprehensive overview of commercial evictions, ranging from self-help, Municipal Court and District Justice Court evictions, Common Pleas Court actions as well as Confessions of Judgments. The seminar covered procedural requirements, substantive
law, as well as practical strategies for prosecuting and defending an eviction or ejectment action. This seminar also focused on drafting tips for leases from the perspectives of both
landlords and tenants.

Mr. Brahin concentrates his practice in the areas of commercial and real estate litigation, general civil litigation, commercial landlord-tenant litigation, as well as transactional business and real estate matters. Mr. Brahin represents a wide variety of companies and individuals in litigation matters such as covenants not to compete, partnership and shareholders disputes, debt collection, Uniform Commercial Code litigation, options, adverse possession, partition, foreclosures, mechanics’ liens actions involving the Real Estate Seller Disclosure Act, actions to quiet title, condominium law matters and the Commercial Real Estate Broker Lien Act. He also has a corporate and real estate practice which involves entity formation and dissolution, mergers and acquisitions, employment agreements, business-to-business contracts, joint venture agreements, security agreements, commercial real estate acquisitions and sales, financing and leases. Mr. Brahin also has a large personal injury practice.
