Jackson, Cook, Caracappa & Scott, P.C. is pleased to announce that Douglas R. Praul has joined the firm Of Counsel. Mr. Praul served as Law Clerk to the Honorable Edmund V. Ludwig in 1974- 75, and joined the Bucks County Court Administrator’s Office in 1978. Mr. Praul served as the County’s Court Administrator from 2005 until his retirement last year.
Mr. Praul plans to focus his private practice in the area of business formation with an emphasis on tax exempt non-profit entities, along with estate planning and administration.
Mr. Praul graduated from Yale University in 1970 and earned his law degree from the University of Southern California in 1974. He is an active member of the community, having served on the Board of Directors of Youth Services of Bucks County, Inc., Today, Inc. and Pen Ryn School in Fairless Hills. Mr. Praul also serves as a chairperson for the Bristol Township Youth Aid Panel.
